Yesterday we had a meeting with the agency I have chosen. We went over a lot of the details and the next steps. That included talks of the medical side of things for me and the need for my body to be given hormones for a much longer time period of time than I had anticipated. But whatever, doesn't really scare me. I keep thinking about how I had allergy shots for YEARS as a kid and I went through the series for the rabies vaccine when I grabbed a bat out of a house and let it go outside while I was in college. Those shots were horrible and I survived them.
Today I sent my commitment letter to the agency. It's a go from our end.
The next steps will include a psychological exam and being matched with the intended parents. I am beyond anxious to be matched!
