1st BETA
Today I had my first blood test to measure the amount of HCG which is produced during pregnancy. The second nurse I talked to today said they like to see the number to be above 50. Mine was 775. So, I'd say things are looking good. I will have another check on 8/1, it should double by then if all goes well.

Transfer Day
Thursday we drove to Chicago. It's just over 5 hours so it was nice to get there the night before. We met with the IP's Friday morning for breakfast and spent a couple of hours with them before we headed to the fertility center. The transfer was super quick and easy. I could see the embryo on a screen beforehand. It's still amazing to me that they can freeze and thaw an embryo! Right after the procedure we headed home.
I'm supposed to take it easy today and no exercise until July 30th when I have a blood test to check the level of HCG to determine if it appears to have worked. If that number is positive on the 30th I will have it checked a few days later to see if it's increased (I think it's supposed to double) like it should.
So the big update will come on the 30th, cross your fingers for me!!

The injections are done!
I just gave myself the last injection. Now that I'm done with that it seems to have gone pretty fast. I got the hang of things to the point of not feeling anything. Nothing to it! =)
Now I'm all ready for the transfer which will happen on the 18th!
